TEAD stands as a vital backbone of our nation's defense, ensuring the Joint Warfighter is armed with unwavering readiness and unmatched capability. Through excellence in ammunition logistics and specialized Ammunition Peculiar Equipment production and maintenance, TEAD upholds its commitment to delivering the tools necessary for mission success. Every operation reflects precision, dedication, and the enduring resolve to empower warfighters.

TEAD is engaged in all four functions of munitions from production to destruction and supports U.S. Joint Forces, other federal agencies, and allies and partners through Foreign Military Sales. TEAD also serves as a Federal Emergency Management Agency southwest staging site for disaster response.

The Tooele Army Depot (TEAD) mission is to provide warfighter readiness and operational reach through superior ammunition logistics from production to destruction.

VISION

To be the Department of Defense's premier convention ammunition hub and Ammunition Peculiar Equipment Center.
