ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

In support of the Tooele Army Depot mission, the TEAD Environmental Management Program involves the development of policies, plans, and procedures that will provide depot staff with the appropriate information and tools to ensure compliance with environmental and other legal requirements.

TEAD Environmental works closely with a wide range of partners and regulatory agencies to ensure full compliance and operational excellence. These include federal entities such as the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Defense, and Army Materiel Command. TEAD also works with state and local environmental agencies like the Utah Department of Natural Resources/Division of Wildlife Resources and Utah Department of Environmental Quality. Collaboration with these organizations enables TEAD to maintain transparency, uphold environmental standards, and proactively address potential risks.

Additionally, the program engages with contractors, engineers, and environmental consultants to implement best practices and innovative solutions that align with both mission objectives and sustainability goals. This network of collaboration ensures that TEAD remains a responsible steward of the environment while continuing to deliver critical support to the Warfighter.
