To gain access to the Tooele Army Depot, visitors must first be vetted through the depot’s Visitor Control Center and undergo a
National Crime Information Center (NCIC) security check.
The only accepted credentials for access to the TEAD are the REAL ID driver license or identification card
or a Government Common Access Card (CAC).
- Take Interstate 80 Westbound
- When exiting the airport, use the right lane on Terminal Dr to merge right onto I-80 W via the ramp to Reno
- Follow I-80 W approximately 19 miles to Exit 99. Use the right 2 lanes to take exit 99 for State Hwy 36 toward Stansbury / Tooele Follow SR-36 south approximately 15 miles to Tooele Army Depot
- From SR-36 turn right onto Commander Boulevard

Check in at Visitor Control Center for credentials, or if already credentialed approach Main Gate. Once cleared at Main Gate. Follow Commander Boulevard to the next gate.

Tooele Army Depot has a Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) and Real-time Automated Personal Identification System (RAPIDS) office for
providing Common Access Cards (CAC) and/or official Identification Cards (ID) to Active Military (all branches of service), Family Members, and Retirees,
and Civilian and Contract Employees.
Location: Building 100. The first building on the right after coming through the main entrance.
Operating Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Closed Friday - Sunday
